Welcome to IBUG
IBUG is a group of people who use or have used mental health services in the past and have come together to monitor the provision of services in Islington.
Information about our organisation can be found on the About Us page. You can also find out about services available to you and other organisations supporting people with mental health difficulties.
NEW in March 2016! iBUG now runs a peer support group for young people with mental health problems - read more about it on our Youth support group page.
If you are in need of some guidance through the process of being registered and assessed in to mental health services, or would like template letters in order to apply for benefits or contest a decision then very detailed reponses can be found on our Resources page.
We would like to receive feedback from you. What do you think about this website and all other iBUG Projects? We encourage you to send comments to us.
You can also use the comments page to tell us your experiences with mental health services. iBUG’s function is to give a professional voice to mental health service users and we have successfully campaigned to stop certain services from closing down and to improve others.
This website is maintained and developed by our volunteers.
If you think you have a mental health problem which requires professional help please contact your GP or call 111 to speak to someone from the NHS team.
